Bengaluru-based MRG Group has forayed into North India with a war-chest of Rs. 100 crore to establish its hotel and restaurant business. As a first step towards its grand plans, it has established its first coastal cuisine restaurant – Sana-Di-Ge in New Delhi
“The land locked Delhi and the Northern hinterland has a substantial appetite for coastal cuisine and we intend to cater to this eating out business,” said Prakash Shetty, founder chairman of MRG Group.
Sana Di Ge launched in the capital today aims to bring a rich fare of menus from the coastal belt of Karnataka in particular and Western Ghats in general to satiate the palates of foodie lovers in Delhi and NCR region. The restaurant islocated at MalchaMarg and it will serve an eclectic mix of coastal delicacies in authentic setting.
Sana-Di-Ge is Bengaluru’s famous Times Food Award winning restaurant for 2014 and 2016. Bengaluru-based MRG Hospitality and Infrastructure, owns a chain of boutique hotels under the Goldfinch brand and operates a number of restaurant brands in the state.

The restaurant follows in quick succession to the acquisition of 72-room Express Sarovar Portico, Surajkund business hotel from Express Infocom; which will be relaunched as Goldfinch from the start of next financial year.
