Enforcement Directorate has attached assets of Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh worth Rs 8 crore in a money laundering case.
A week ago, the Delhi High Court had refused to grant a stay on the proceedings initiated by the ED against him.

Last year, a case was registered against Mr. Singh on a complaint by the CBI which was investigating a corruption case against him.

The CBI is investigating charges against the Chief Minister and his family members of amassing disproportionate assets of 6.1 crore rupees when he was Union Minister in the UPA government.
