Police in Mali have arrested seven people in connection with 37 civilians killed in an ethnic clash on New Year’s Day. The civil protection ministry said in a statement that they yesterday arrested seven suspects in the case. The army was rushed to the Koulogon village in central Mopti region to control the situation following the massacre. The attackers were believed to be traditional Dogon hunters who raided the village of Fulani herders.
