In a massive crackdown on drug syndicates targeting educational institutions in Keralam, the State Police’s month-long drive has led to the seizure of illicit drugs worth over ₹30 crore. According to the Kerala Police Media Centre, authorities registered 5,353 cases and arrested 5,736 individuals across the state. The extensive haul included large quantities of MDMA, hybrid cannabis, hashish oil, and brown sugar, alongside the dismantling of an international supply chain. State Police Chief Ravada Azad Chandra Sekhar confirmed that this intensive campaign will grow even stronger in the coming months.
