Kerala reported highest single day surge today in COVID cases with 127 people testing positive for the virus infection. This is the second consecutive day , the state is reporting more than a 100 COVID cases in a day.
Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan informed that 57 people have recovered from the disease today. The infection count in the state has touched 3,039, while presently 1,450 people are under treatment.
Out of the total COVID cases in the state, majority are returnees including today’s cases where 87 people came from abroad and 36 people from other states. Over 1.39 lakh people under observation in Kerala. Amid raising COVID cases, Chief Minister informed that precautions and surveillance will be further tightened in the state.
