Criticising the central government for creating an economic crisis in the country by adopting wrong policies, the Jamaat-e-Islami Hind (JIH) President Syed Sadatullah Husaini said that his organization will work out on each and every level to recover the country from the crisis.
Deliberating on the issue in a Webinar, JIH chief said, “the common people of the country are facing acute financial crisis due to wrong policies of the central government and the COVID-19. Jamaat-e-Islami Hind will work out on each and every level to recover the country from the economic crisis. Conferences and seminars will be held on national level for proposing suggestions to the government for taking economic reforms and also offering alternative economic system for the country. While on the local level, the Jamaat with the help of its local units and other organisations will try to resolve the economic problems of the countrymen.”
Speaking to the state leaders of the Jamaat at a virtual webinar, the JIH President has announced that a committee will be formed to chalk out the detailed programme in this regard. He has hailed the services done by the Rifah chambers of commerce for resolving the economic issues of the people. This is a Jamaat initiative for creating and encouraging entrepreneurs, employments and businesses among the common people.
Hailing the Jamaat workers for carrying out tremendous tasks of relief and social work during the lockdown, Mr. Husaini instructed them that these selfless services for humanity and the human welfare works should be persistently continued. He said, “during the Covid-19 crisis, our doctors remained a beacon of hope for the people. And the society will remember their brave services as a frontline health worker.”
Apart from these eminent services, he further said, during this global pandemic period the Jamaat has also tried to overcome the people’s depression and anxiety by connecting them with the religion and the Almighty God. “The Jamaat has also tried to promote the communal amity among the communities. For this purpose, the Jamaat has successfully run ‘Sadbhavna campaigns across the country,” he added. He has also stressed encouraging the unity and amity in the country.
Speaking about the Muslim youths, the Jamaat chief emphasized to encourage their abilities and creativities for building the nation and the community.
