Finance Minister Arun Jaitley has trained gun at former Telecom Minister Kapil Sibal. Reacting to CBI court’s judgment discharging a former top bureaucrat in the 2002 spectrum scam, Mr. Jaitley said the charge sheet was filed at the behest of Mr. Sibal as the then Telecom Minister.
In a Facebook post, he said Mr. Sibal tried to prove the 2G irregularities as a NDA Scam.
He said the CBI officers who acted on the dictates of the political masters will now face an enquiry but what about the Ministers who conspired to create a fabricated charge sheet.
The Minister said charge sheet was an attempt to attack the previous NDA regime by including the name of late Pramod Mahajan.
Mr. Jaitley said he had consistently maintained that the charge sheet was full of fabricated facts and the Court has vindicated his stand.
