Indian Railways has made elaborate arrangements at major stations in the Delhi area for the convenience of passengers travelling to the eastern parts of the country to celebrate the festival of Holi. In a statement, Northern Railway said that 22 special trains originated from major stations in the Delhi area today.
Yesterday, 22 special trains were operated, and more than three lakh outward passengers boarded from the Delhi area. The Railways said that around 14 lakh passengers have travelled from the Delhi area in the last five days. It added that 22 special trains are planned to run tomorrow to manage the rush during the festive season.
