India on Tuesday strongly condemned the recent terrorist attacks in Mali that targeted multiple locations, expressing deep condolences to the victims and reaffirming its commitment to combating terrorism globally.
In an official statement, the Ministry of External Affairs said India stands in solidarity with the government and people of Mali during this difficult time. The statement also conveyed condolences on the death of Sadio Camara, Mali’s Minister of Defence and Veteran Affairs, who was killed in the attack.
“India strongly condemns the terrorist attacks in Mali targeting multiple locations. We extend our deepest condolences to the families of the victims and express our solidarity with the Government and people of Mali,” the statement said.
Reiterating its consistent stance, India emphasized its firm commitment to fighting terrorism in all its forms and manifestations. It also expressed support for international efforts aimed at ensuring peace and stability in the region.
The condemnation comes amid rising security concerns in parts of West Africa, where extremist violence has intensified in recent years. India has consistently advocated for stronger global cooperation to counter terrorism and address emerging security threats.
