India has asked Pakistan to take action against terrorists. It asked Islamabad to honour its commitments made in the past to not allow its territory be used by terror elements.
Replying to a query on ceasefire violations and continuing attacks, MEA spokesperson Vikas Swarup said, all the terrorists attacks in parts of Jammu and Kashmir are being carried out with the support of Pakistan, which is matter of grave concern. Mr Swarup said instead of taking action against terrorists, Pakistan is giving shelter to them.
Meanwhile, New Delhi today said it will welcome Pakistan at Heart of Asia conference in Amritsar scheduled to be held on 4th of December this year. However, official confirmation from Pakistan is yet to come.
Replying to a media query, Mr Swarup said this a multilateral meeting to discuss the peace, development and economic co-operation in Afghanistan. He said, India is committed to peace and prosperity of Afghanistan and conference is an important forum in this regard.
