Incessant rains affected life in many districts in Assam. Waterlogging has been reported at many urban areas in the state including Guwahati, Nalbari, Barpeta Road among others.
2 lakh 60 thousand people have been affected in 15 districts due to floods. Nearly 20 thousand people are taking shelter at relief camps. So far 16 persons lost their lives due to floods in the state.
