The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast heavy rainfall at isolated places over Kerala, Mahe, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal till tomorrow. The IMD said that conditions are likely to become favourable for further withdrawal of southwest monsoon from remaining parts of Marathwada and Vidarbha, some more parts of Maharashtra Chhattisgarh, Telangana and North interior Karnataka during next two days.
The Met Department said that thunderstorms and lightning conditions will continue over Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu Puducherry and Karaikal during the next two days. Meanwhile hot and humid weather is expected over Konkan and Goa till tomorrow.
