A Chetak helicopter of the Indian Air Force toppled in Allahabad today while making an emergency landing. Both the pilots are reported to be safe. The chopper, which took off from Bamrauli air base, was on a routine training sortie.
IAF sources said, the aircraft toppled when the pilots tried to force land it on an uneven field after it developed a technical snag. IAF has ordered a Court Of Inquiry to ascertain the cause of the accident.
