India Meteorological Department, IMD has predicted heavy rainfall spell over Northeastern states during next five days. It said, a Western Disturbance as a cyclonic circulation lies over Jammu and Kashmir.

IMD said, light to moderate widespread rainfall is likely to continue over Northeast India at isolated places over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura. The weather office also forecast heavy rainfall at isolated places over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim.
