Allahabad High Court has taken strong view about the process of appointment of three members of Uttar Pradesh Higher Education Services Commission. While hearing a PIL filed by the Teachers Association of Gorakhpur University, the bench comprising Chief Justice DY Chandrachud and Justice Yashwant Varma issued notice to Uttar Pradesh government and asked how all three members were appointed and what process was adopted to appoint them.

The court also issued notices to the members and sought their responses. The three members under court scanner are Rudal Yadav, Ramveer Singh and Anil Kumar Singh. The next hearing will take place on 12th of August. Last week, the High Court had expressed deep concern over the appointment of Anil Yadav as Chairman of Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission.
