Senior Congress MLA Mohan Rathava resigned from the party and joined BJP on Tuesday. Our correspondent reports that Mr. Rathava who is a senior tribal leader is the ten times MLA and represented the Chhota Udepur constituency of central Gujarat in the last Assembly. BJP State General Secretary Bhargav Bhatt welcomed Rathava and his two sons to BJP.
Meanwhile, Aam Aadmi Party released its 12th list of seven candidates for the Assembly elections today. With this, the total number of candidates announced by AAP has gone up to 137.
