Minister of state for external affairs Mr. E Ahamed said in a written reply to the Lok Sabha on Wednesday. He said that an inter-ministerial committee of secretaries is constituted to examine issues relating to repatriation, relief and rehabilitation of Indian nationals affected by the recent developments in West Asia, Gulf and North Africa.
Mr Ahamed said the recent developments in the Gulf region have no impact on country’s bilateral trade including import of oil.
