The government tabled a copy of the Ordinance promulgated on the Land Acquisition Bill in the Lok Sabha as the second half of the budget session of Parliament began today. Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Rajiv Pratap Rudy tabled the document amidst strong protests from the opposition. Micro, Small and Medium Industries Kalraj Mishra introduced the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development (amendment) Bill, 2015.
Opposition disrupted Lok Sabha over land acquisition law. The Opposition’s protest, finally led to adjournment of the House till 1400 hrs. The Rajya Sabha, which was prorogued in order to re-promulgate the land ordinance, will begin its sittings from Thursday.
