Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri today visited the US Embassy in New Delhi and offered condolences on the passing away of former US President Jimmy Carter. Paying his respects, he recalled President Carter’s visit to India in 1978 and the signing of the Delhi Declaration which laid the foundation for a strong India-US relationship.
