India, Russia and China today reiterated that fight against terrorism should be united and there must not be any kind of compromise. Speaking to reporters in New Delhi after meeting, External Affairs minister Sushma Swaraj, Chinese foreign minister Wang Yi and Russian foreign minstrer Sergey Lavrov decided to further strengthen mutual trust.
Mr Yi said, China is committed to work with other countries for an inclusive world. All the leaders said, they had frank and forward looking exchange. Mrs Swaraj said, she conveyed that rise in activities by terror groups were global threat and had to be combated in all aspects.
She said, Mr Yi and Mr Lavrov were informed about India’s rise in ease of doing business ranking and invited them to intensify investment. Mrs Swaraj said, all the leaders also discussed economic and development issues and ways to fight terrorism. She said, terrorism is affecting growth across globe and India favours a policy to deal with growing terrorism.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said, all three countries will hold regular trilateral consultations. My Yi said, 16th RIC meeting will be held in China and all agreed to be part of it.
