Dr Mahvish Ali

AMUDr Mahvish Ali, Department of Mathematics, Aligarh Muslim University has become first research scholar of the University to get the prestigious “UGC-Dr D S Kothari Post Doctoral Fellowship”. Dr Ali has been selected for this award on the recommendation of the MHRD-Empowered Committee, University Grants Commission, New Delhi. The Post Doctoral Fellowship (PDF) is tenable for a period of 3 years for research in the area of Special Functions.

Dr Ali has a number of papers to her credit published in SCI and ESCI International Journals of repute. She is the recipient of Alburuj R Rahman Best PhD Thesis Prize 2018 given by Department of Mathematics, AMU. She has also received “Aruna Gupta Prize for Best Paper Presentation” at an international conference held at Bikaner, Rajasthan in November last.

Dr Mahvish Ali has completed her PhD under the supervision of Prof Subuhi Khan.
