were leaving no stone unturned to divert the people and agencies’ attention from real culprit by accusing Indian Muslims for the crime,at the same time when Senior Congress leader Digvijay Singh said that he couldn’t rule out involvement of Hindu outfits (pointing out finger at RSS) in the blasts, the BJP and same section of media gone berserk and started abusing him fashionable terms.
Interestingly BJP has put forward two Muslim ‘Mukhautas’ to defend RSS. “This statement is highly objectionable. The RSS is a nationalist organisation,” BJP’s Syed Shahnawaz Hussain told media here.
“The Congress is doing politics over dead bodies. Is Digvijay Singh above the home ministry and all Indian agencies that he can say anything? Some people in Indian politics have verbal diarrhoea, they don’t think before speaking,” he added.
Digvijay Singh on Friday said that the involvement of Hindu outfits in the latest Mumbai blasts could not be ruled out. Earlier in Mumbai home minister also said: “We have asked the police and investigators not to proceed on presupposition. All those who have the capacity to carry out terror attacks are suspected”.
Singh said that nothing can be ruled out. “We should allow the NIA and Anti-Terrorism Squad of Maharashtra to do their jobs. But we cannot rule out anything.”
Singh, also recalled the BJP role into investigations of previous blasts, saying the National Investigation Agency (NIA) probe into the 2007 murder of RSS activist Sunil Joshi might “establish” some BJP leaders’ links.
He also offered to testify before the court on the involvement of RSS activists in terror-related activities.
Singh told a newspaper that when he was Madhya Pradesh chief minister, he had come to know of the terror activities of RSS activists like Joshi. “If I am called (by the court), whatever information I have, I would love to share with everyone under oath.”
“The NIA is investigating the murder of Sunil Joshi. If it is investigated intensely, exhastively, I think some connection may be established to some in the BJP leadership… if you see, the moment (slain Maharashtra ATS chief)
It may be recaaled that when Hemant Karkare arrested Pragya Thakur, Dayanand Pandey and (Lt Col Prasad Srikant) Purohit, the whole BJP was up in arms. Advani led a delegation to the PM to stop the ATS Maharashtra from investigating. Narendra Modi called Karkare deshdrohi, an anti-national. Then again, in the case of (co-accused) Swami Aseemanand, the BJP went overboard to defend him, but kept quiet after his confession. Rajnath Singh met Pragya Thakur. What does it signify?” said Singh.
