Delhi Chief Secretary Anshu Prakash on Tuesday met Home Minister Rajnath Singh in Delhi in connection with the incident of alleged misbehavior with Mr Prakash by two Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLAs at Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s residence.

‘I am deeply pained by the happenings involving the Chief Secretary of the Delhi Government. The civil servants should be allowed to work with dignity and without fear,’ Mr Singh told media here.

The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has also sought a report on the incident from Lt Governor Anil Baijal.

Reacting sharply to the alleged man-handling of Delhi Chief Secretary Anshu Prakash by two Aam Aadmi Party MLAs at Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s residence, Delhi Congress on Tuesday demanded strict legal against against concerned persons for such behaviour.

Talking to mediapersons, Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee Chief Ajay Maken said, ‘This incident has happened in front of the Chief Minister. Mr Kejriwal has no right to remain in office and should immediately resign from his post.’
