After a case of supplying substandard N95 masks was reported day before yesterday in Manipur, State Chief Minister N. Biren Singh has intervened in the matter and constituted two committees to ensure quality of products and requirements, source of procurement in relation to COVID-19 pandemic.
The state Health Department has issued two different Orders today informing that a Technical Committee under the Chairmanship of Director (Health Services) and a COVID-19 Medical Materials Management Committee under the Chairmanship of Addl. Chief Secretary (Finance) has been formed.
