SPEAKER DEDICATES MANY DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS TO THE PEOPLE OF KOTA – BUNDI

Lok Sabha Speaker, Shri Om Birla today said that contributions of Divyang people to the development of society is immense. Distributing assistive devices to differently-abled and senior citizens of Lakheri, Mr Birla said that Divyangs have enhanced the country’s value in Paralympic Games and they have made the country proud in the fields of business, industry and science. he said that the assistive equipments should reach the last needy person of the society.
“Everyone should get social justice and their rights should be protected. Speaking on the role of social workers, he said that it is the responsibility of social workers to work with human touch in the society. They should go from village to village and identify such people. They have to contribute in bringing about socio-economic change. Working with the spirit of dedication and service is the need of the hour”, said the Lok Sabha Speaker adding that we have to work with the dedication to remove the obstacles on the path of every section of the society.
Birla inaugurated Dayodaya Express stoppage at Lakheri. He also inaugurated passenger amenities at Lakheri station and laid foundation stone for passenger amenities at at Varana station of Indergarh Ghat. Sogaria-Delhi train will now stop at Lakheri. Platforms of Lakheri station will also be upgraded and made better. A Waiting room for passengers will be built, said Shri Birla.
Speaking on this occasion about the proposed development projects in the area, Birla said that indoor stadium worth Rs.4.5 crores will be given to the people of Lakheri. Residential school at the cost of Rs. 48 crore will also be given to Keshavarayapatan area. He reiterated that all basic facilities will be provided to the people of the area soon. In this connection, he mentioned about the proposed medical camps which will be set up for the entire area. Emphasizing that it is very important for the public to be educated and healthy, Shri Birla said that all classrooms will be made smart classes and rural infrastructure will be developed in the fields of education and health.
16 motorized tricycles, 53 plain tricycles presented, pwheelchairs, crutches, prostheses and several other equipment were distributed by Birla . About 300 beneficiaries got 900 equipments in Lakheri.
