A Central medical team headed by Health and Family Welfare Additional Secretary Arti Ahuja met Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa and other ministers today to discuss measures taken to contain the pandemic.
Dr. P Raveendran who is the Director at Emergency Medical Relief in the Directorate of Health Services has accompanied the central team. Briefing the media persons later, the Health and Family Welfare minister S Sriramulu informed that the team will stay in the state for two days and visit the containment zones and Covid Care Centres. The minister added that the team has suggested that more tests for covid 19 should be carried out in the containment zones.
