CBI on Wednesday registered three cases in Vyapam scam. With this the CBI has started the process of taking over the Vyapam scam from STF in Madhya Pradesh. In one case, the CBI has registered case against 21 candidates in Pre Medical Test 2010 examination.
The second case is against eight accused persons in the pre PG examination under different sections of IPC.
The third case pertains to illegalities in the PMT test of 2009 and 2010 and involves 28 named accused. The head of CBI’s special team, formed to probe Vyapam scam only, joint director R P Aggarwal reportedly met STF chief Sudhir Sahi to understand the cases, files and accused.
