National Investigating Agency, NIA today said captured terrorist Bahadur Ali has revealed that he is a Lashkar e Toiba operative and was trained in Pakistan to execute terror attacks in India.
The agency said Ali was regularly guided by control room of terrorist groups in Pak Occupied Kashmir with help of Pak forces.
Briefing media in New Delhi, Inspector General, NIA , Sanjeev Singh said that Bahadur Ali was directed to take advantage of current situation in Kashmir.
Mr Singh informed that arms and ammunition training given to Ali show the involvement of military experts. He said Bahadur Ali crossed into Indian side on either 11th or 12th June along with two LeT cadres.
Mr Singh said NIA has collected all kinds of evidence and future investigation is continuing in regards with Bahadur Ali’s disclosure.
Ali was recruited by Jamaat-ud-Dawa, and subsequently radicalised by LeT. He has confessed to have established terror camps in Pakistan. Ali was caught in Naugam in Jammu and Kashmir on 25th of last month.
