Candidates and political parties are making last efforts to convince the voters for the second phase of assembly elections as campaigning ends today.
Thirty two constituencies spread over six districts will go to polls in this phase on Friday.
These districts are Gaya, Jahanabad, Arwal, Aurangabad, Rohtas and Kaimur. Most of the constituencies in this phase are naxal infested.
Star campaigners of NDA and the grand alliance are leaving no stone unturned to garner peoples support.
Union minister Ravishankar Prasad, Ram Kirpal Yadav, Giriraj Singh, senior BJP leaders Sushil Kumar Modi, C P Thakur, chief minister of Madhya Pardesh Sivraj Singh Chouhan and former chief minister of Bihar Jitanram Manjhi are addressing election rallies and taking part in road shows in favour of NDA candidates at different places.
These leaders are appealing voters to change the government in Bihar for the development.
They are blaming JD(U), RJD and Congress for the backwardness of the state.
On the other hand senior JD(U) leader and chief minister Nitish Kumar, Sharad Yadav, RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav and Congress leaders are targeting prime minister Narendra Modi and the centre’s NDA government for not fulfilling major promises like controlling inflation, bringing back black money and raising issue of reservation.
Addressing a rally in Belaganj, Nitish Kumar alleged that the NDA has no leader in Bihar so it is fighting election in the name of Prime minister Narendra Modi.
BSP, SP and other small parties are also using their all resources to get support of the voters.
