Campaigning for the first phase of Assembly elections in Bihar reached its peak. Political parties have pressed their top leaders to woo the voters as campaigning will come to a close tomorrow for this phase.

War of words has hot-up in the state as top leaders of various political parties are making their last ditch efforts to woo the voters.

Addressing an election rally, JD(U) leader and Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar took potshots at Prime Minister Narendra Modi saying this is for the first time that a Prime Minister has been campaigning in a state Assembly election so vigorously.

Mr.Kumar asked Mr. Modi who would believe his fresh promises when he has gone back on his earlier promises during Lok Sabha polls of giving 15 to 20 lakh rupees to each of the people of the country out the black money brought back to the country, job for youth and enhanced minimum support price to farmers.

Reacting sharply on Narendra Modi, RJD Chief Lalu Prasad said Prime Minister has not only abused him as Shaitaan but also humiliated people of Bihar.Talking to reporters in Patna, Mr.Prasad said when he raised issue of reservation then he was targeted. Lalu Prasad said Prime Minister has also humiliated backward and dalits. RJD leader said he will narrate all things in peoples’ court and claimed they will give befitting reply.
