Prime Minister and senior BJP leader Narendra Modi addressed a public rally in Chaibasa, West Singhbhum district of Jharkhand. He also campaigned for NDA candidates from Khunti and Singhbhum constituencies. During the public rally, he fiercely attacked the constituent parties of the INDI alliance in Jharkhand. He also said that Jharkhand has been carved out of Bihar as a separate state only because of the strength of the BJP.

He also held a road show in Ranchi. Earlier today, the Prime Minister addressed public meetings at Bardhaman, Krishnanagar and Ahmedpur constituencies in West Bengal today. Trinamool Congress chief, Mamata Banerjee also addressed a public meeting at Raina in support of the party’s Bardhaman Purba Lok Sabha candidate today.

Senior Congress leader, Rahul Gandhi held a political rally at Pune. He said, Congress will never allow the Constitution to be abolished and alleged that BJP-RSS leaders are talking about changing the Constitution. He was speaking at an election rally in Pune this evening in support of INDI alliance Candidates. Mr. Gandhi assured that the I N D I A coalition is working to save the Constitution and the people know everything. He assured to increase the limit of reservation after coming to power. If BJP abolishes the Constitution, the identity of the country will be erased, he cautioned.

Commenting on the current situation in the country Rahul Gandhi said that there is no water in the fields, and inflation is on the rise. Alleging that corruption worth crores of rupees in the form of electoral bonds is taking place, he charged that the media is not saying a word about it and ultimately the Supreme Court asked to close these bonds. Mr. Rahul posed a question that if the government is talking about keeping politics clean, then why did it keep the names of all the donors hidden? If the names come out, many secrets will be revealed, he said. He added that loans worth Rs 16 lakh crore of 22 people have been waived off by the government. Saying that there is no participation of the people in the country, Mr. Gandhi said that 22 people own 40 percent of the country’s wealth and ninety people run the government of India, who are the IAS officers that distribute the budget as to how much will go to whom.

Assuring that his party will conduct an economic survey in the country and find out how many tribals are there in corporate India, Mr. Gandhi said this will help us to know everything very clearly as to how much participation the people have in the government and after that a new politics will begin. Earlier one used to get jobs in Railways, but now they are privatizing it, this is an excuse, he alleged. Claiming that no government in the world has ever thought of listing the names of every poor person in the country, Rahul Gandhi said that if Congress comes to power, money will be automatically deposited in the accounts of the poor till they are brought above the poverty line. No government in the world has given money to women for their expenses but we will give, he assured and said we will double the income of Asha-Anganwadi workers. He added that farmers are not given the right price for their goods but his party will make a commission and its name will be Farmer Loan Waiver Commission. Mr. Gandhi assured that no youth of India will remain unemployed, the first job will be given for sure and India will be made the world’s most well-trained manpower.

He also challenged Uddhav Thackeray to clear his stand on various issues including the abrogation of Article 370, triple Talaq among others. Mr. Shah will address a public rally in Sangli district in a while.

He called people to come forward to fulfil the will of Mahatma Gandhi. Mr Rajnath Singh in his speech also targeted Rahul Gandhi.
