Leaders Of Various Political Parties Hold Rallies

Campaigning is in full momentum for the third phase of the Lok Sabha elections with only two days left for canvassing. Leaders of various political parties are holding rallies and road shows in different parts of the country.

Prime Minister and senior BJP leader Narendra Modi addressed a public rally in Chaibasa, West Singhbhum district of Jharkhand. He also campaigned for NDA candidates from Khunti and Singhbhum constituencies. During the public rally, he fiercely attacked the constituent parties of the INDI alliance in Jharkhand. He also said that Jharkhand has been carved out of Bihar as a separate state only because of the strength of the BJP.

He also held a road show in Ranchi. Earlier today, the Prime Minister addressed public meetings at Bardhaman, Krishnanagar and Ahmedpur constituencies in West Bengal today. Trinamool Congress chief, Mamata Banerjee also addressed a public meeting at Raina in support of the party’s Bardhaman Purba Lok Sabha candidate today.

Senior Congress leader, Rahul Gandhi held a political rally at Pune. He said, Congress will never allow the Constitution to be abolished and alleged that BJP-RSS leaders are talking about changing the Constitution. He was speaking at an election rally in Pune this evening in support of INDI alliance Candidates. Mr. Gandhi assured that the I N D I A coalition is working to save the Constitution and the people know everything. He assured to increase the limit of reservation after coming to power. If BJP abolishes the Constitution, the identity of the country will be erased, he cautioned.

Commenting on the current situation in the country Rahul Gandhi said that there is no water in the fields, and inflation is on the rise. Alleging that corruption worth crores of rupees in the form of electoral bonds is taking place, he charged that the media is not saying a word about it and ultimately the Supreme Court asked to close these bonds. Mr. Rahul posed a question that if the government is talking about keeping politics clean, then why did it keep the names of all the donors hidden? If the names come out, many secrets will be revealed, he said. He added that loans worth Rs 16 lakh crore of 22 people have been waived off by the government. Saying that there is no participation of the people in the country, Mr. Gandhi said that 22 people own 40 percent of the country’s wealth and ninety people run the government of India, who are the IAS officers that distribute the budget as to how much will go to whom.

Assuring that his party will conduct an economic survey in the country and find out how many tribals are there in corporate India, Mr. Gandhi said this will help us to know everything very clearly as to how much participation the people have in the government and after that a new politics will begin. Earlier one used to get jobs in Railways, but now they are privatizing it, this is an excuse, he alleged. Claiming that no government in the world has ever thought of listing the names of every poor person in the country, Rahul Gandhi said that if Congress comes to power, money will be automatically deposited in the accounts of the poor till they are brought above the poverty line. No government in the world has given money to women for their expenses but we will give, he assured and said we will double the income of Asha-Anganwadi workers. He added that farmers are not given the right price for their goods but his party will make a commission and its name will be Farmer Loan Waiver Commission. Mr. Gandhi assured that no youth of India will remain unemployed, the first job will be given for sure and India will be made the world’s most well-trained manpower.

Senior BJP leader Amit Shah today reiterated that BJP will implement a Uniform Civil Code (UCC) across the country if it wins a third straight term at the Centre.

Addressing a rally at Ratnagiri in Maharashtra, Mr. Shah also said that making Narendra Modi the Prime Minister again would ensure the security of the country.

Mr. Shah highlighted the abrogation of Article 370, the building of the Ram Mandir, surgical strikes in Pakistan, and the abolition of Triple Talaq as the achievements of the NDA government. Highlighting various welfare schemes of the government, he said the NDA Government provided free ration to more than 80 crore under-privileged families in the country, built 11 crore toilets, provided 14 crore cylinders to women, pucca houses to 3 crore people, free COVID vaccines and health insurance to 60 crore beneficiaries under the Ayushman Bharat scheme.

During his speech, Mr. Shah also targeted Shiv Sena UBT chief Uddhav Thackeray and said that he is running a fake Shiv Sena while the real Shiv Sena is with Eknath Shinde. He also challenged Uddhav Thackeray to clear his stand on various issues including the abrogation of Article 370, triple Talaq among others. Mr. Shah will address a public rally in Sangli district in a while.

He said, the NDA government under Prime Minister Narendra Modi has dealt with terrorism sternly. Attacking the Congress, Mr. Shah said that during the rule of the Congress, infiltrators from Pakistan used to explode bombs and escape. He said that under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi, India responded strongly after the Uri and Pulwama attacks and conducted surgical strikes.

Addressing a rally at Sangli in Maharashtra, Mr. Shah highlighted the Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam, 2023 as one of the notable contributions of the NDA Government towards women empowerment in the country.

Mr. Shah underscored that the NDA Government started the work on the Tembhu and Mhaisal Irrigation Projects of the region which had been pending when NCP (SP) chief Sharad Pawar was the Agriculture Minister at the centre. He also questioned Sharad Pawar over the closing of sugar mills in the region.

Mr. Shah highlighted the work done in various projects including Pune Bangalore Green Field Highway, electrification of the Pune-Miraj-Londa rail line, and redevelopment of Miraj Station and Sangli Station.

Senior BJP leader and Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh today alleged that Congress wanted to divide the country in the name of religion. He was addressing an election rally at Rohtak in Haryana in favour of a BJP candidate from Rohtak Loksabha Constituency.

He said that the BJP does not believe in the politics of religion or caste. He said that after getting independence The Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi had said that the Congress should be dissolved now but the congressmen did not keep his word. He called people to come forward to fulfil the will of Mahatma Gandhi. Mr Rajnath Singh in his speech also targeted Rahul Gandhi. He said that the congressmen are calling the unopposed election of BJP MP from Surat in Gujarat, the murder of democracy, perhaps they do not know so far 28 times the candidates for Loksabha were elected unopposed and 20 out of them were of Congress. He questioned Congress, whether at that time also democracy was in danger.

Many star campaigners from different political parties today campaigned in Uttar Pradesh. Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra held a road show in the Fatehabad area of Agra district today. Senior BJP leader and Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Mohan Yadav addressed a rally in Sambhal along with Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath. Mohan Yadav said that BJP is a party which treats everyone equally and fulfils its promises. Yogi Adityanath also addressed rallies in Badayun and Aonla constituencies. Samajwadi Party Chief Akhilesh Yadav addressed political gatherings in Mainpuri and Kannauj districts today.
