The BJP-led NDA today kicked off its election campaign for forthcoming Bihar assembly polls later this year. BJP National President Amit Shah flagged off Parivartan Yatra (chariot for change) from the historic Gandhi Maidan in Patna. 160 GPS-fitted motorised vehicles, nick named Parivartan Rath, will cover all 243 assembly constituencies of the State.

On this occasion, LJP president Ram Vilas Paswan, RLSP chief Upendra Kushwah, Hindustani Awam Morcha leader Jiten Ram Manjhi and several union ministers were also present. Addressing the function, Amit Shah urged people of the state to uproot Nitish Kumar and free Bihar off bad governance by the JDU regime, whose performance has dipped ever since he back stopped the NDA.
