BJP today staged a walkout from the Delhi Assembly, accusing the AAP-led Delhi government of avoiding discussion on financial irregularities, pollution and other matters related to public interest.
When the House met this morning, on the second day of a three-day session, AAP MLAs raised allegations that Law and Order has deteriorated in the national capital. In response, Leader of Opposition in the Assembly, Vijendra Gupta protested that the government is shying away from pressing issues like pollution, education and finance. Talking to Akashvani News, Mr Gupta said that the Delhi government has so far been opaque about financial irregularities in its functioning.
