BJP has released its first list for Delhi assembly elections on Saturday. BJP has given tickets to 29 candidates. Kailash Gehlot, who left AAP, has been given ticket from Bijwasan seat.
Pravesh Verma against Kejriwal, Bidhuri against Atishi
BJP has fielded former MP Ramesh Bidhuri against Delhi Chief Minister Atishi from Kalkaji assembly seat, while former MP Pravesh Verma has been given ticket against Arvind Kejriwal from New Delhi assembly seat. Congress has made former CM Sheila Dixit’s son Sandeep Dixit its candidate from New Delhi seat.
The BJP list includes Rajkumar Bhatia from Adarsh Nagar Assembly constituency, Deepak Chaudhary from Badli, Kulwant Rana from Rithala, Manoj Shaukeen from Nagaloi Jat, Rajkumar Chauhan from Mangolpuri (SC), Vijendra Gupta from Rohini, Rekha Gupta from Shalimar Bagh, Ashok Goyal from Model Town, Dushyant Kumar Gautam from Karol Bagh (SC), Rajendra Kumar Anand from Patel Nagar (SC) and Sardar Manjinder Singh Sirsa from Rajouri Garden.
Apart from this, Ashish Sood from Janakpuri assembly seat, Kailash Gehlot from Bijwasan, Pravesh Sahib Singh Verma from New Delhi, Sardar Tarvinder Singh Marwah from Jangpura, Satish Upadhyay from Malviya Nagar, Anil Sharma from RK Puram, Gajendra Yadav from Mehrauli, Kartar Singh Tanwar from Chhatarpur, Khushi Ram Chunar from Ambedkar Nagar (SC), Ramesh Bidhuri from Kalkaji, Narayan Dutt Sharma from Badarpur, Ravindra Singh Negi from Patparganj, Om Prakash Sharma from Vishwas Nagar, Anil Goyal from Krishna Nagar, Sardar Arvind Singh Lovely from Gandhinagar, Kumari Rinku from Seemapuri (SC), Jitender Mahajan from Rohtas Nagar and Ajay Mahawar from Gohana have been made candidates.
