PM Modi seeks cooperation of opposition for effective govt in Tripura

BJP leader Biplab Kumar Deb has been sworn in as the 10th Chief Minister of Tripura today. Governor Tathagata Roy administered him the oath of office and secrecy in a ceremony, held at Assam Rifles ground in Agartala.

Jishnu Debbarman took oath as the Deputy Chief Minister. Along with Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister seven other cabinet ministers also took the oath. This is the first time that BJP and its ally IPFT have taken over as the chief minister of the state.

On the occasion, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP President Amit Shah, Senior Party Leaders L.K.Advani, Murli Manohar Joshi, Home Minister Rajnath Singh, DoNER Minister Dr. Jitender Singh and Chief Ministers of BJP ruled states were present.

Addressing a gathering Prime Minister Modi congratulated all the ministers who took oath and MLAs who got elected in this election. He assured the people of the state to fulfill their hopes and dreams. Mr Modi urged the opposition to share their experiences with new cabinet for the holistic development of the state.

Mr Modi said that whatever problem prevailing in the state will be resolved expeditiously. He said that wherever the BJP government has got an opportunity to form the development they have provided good governance, participatory democracy, and people’s participation to get quick results. He said, in the history of India, there are some elections that will always be discussed.

Speaking on the occasion BJP President Amit Shah congratulated the new government and assured that the aspirations of the people will be fulfilled.
