Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today termed the mandate as the victory of self respect of the people of Bihar. Talking to reporters in Patna Mr. Kumar promised that he will fulfill the aspirations of the people of the state. He said people of Bihar have chosen solidarity of the grand alliance ignoring the aggressive campaigning of NDA. Mr. Kumar also said he is not biased against anybody and will welcome the support from everybody for all round development of the state.

Nitish Kumar opined that the result of the state assembly will decide the fate of national politics. Mr. Kumar also said although he got big victory in elections but he will respect opposition in the state. Mr. Kumar also expressed gratitude to Prime minister Narendra Modi and Congress president Sonia Gandhi.

 

Bihar poll outcome defeat of divisive agenda of BJP, RSS: Rahul

Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi has termed Bihar poll outcome as defeat of divisive agenda of BJP and RSS. Speaking to reporters in New Delhi, Mr Gandhi termed the grand alliance’s triumph ,a victory of unity over divisiveness, humility over arrogance and love over hate.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said the Bihar poll verdict was a referendum against the Narendra Modi government . He expressed the hope that after today’s results, the Centre’s interference in Delhi and other states would end.

Congratulating the people of Bihar on the victory of grand alliance, CPI-M General Secretary Sitaram Yechury said the Modi wave was on the wane and the real achhe din have begun for the people of India.
