Bihar Chief minister Nitish Kumar today said that he has given consent for CBI probe in the case of journalist Rajdeo Ranjan murder case in the Siwan district. Talking to media persons in Patna Mr. Kumar said that he has given his approval in view of the demand of the relatives of the slain journalist. He said formal announcement will be made within hours from now and the request will be sent to Centre regarding a request for CBI inquiry today itself.
Mr. Kumar said he is in shock and awe over killing of the journalist. He said attack on media is akin to attack on him. Replying to a question on related to killing of Aditya Sachdeva in Gaya Mr. Kumar said the probe is going in right direction and relatives of slain student have expressed faith in the probe by police.
The Chief Minister also said police will soon file charge sheet in the court with full evidence and request for speedy trial. He said police will soon arrest underground suspended JD(U) MLC Manorama Devi who is avoiding arrest in liquor prohibition case.
