The Assam government will appoint over 7 thousand school teachers by June this year. Talking to media persons in Guwahati today, Education minister Sarat Borkotoky said that all these regular appointments will be made in Primary and Upper Primary level.
He said that the Finance department has approved this proposal. The minister said that casual teachers can also apply for regular post. He also said that result of the metric examination will be announced on 25th of this month and higher secondary result will be declared on 30th of May.
