The Assam government will bear all educational expenses for the students from BPL families. Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi said in a statement, that a new scheme will be launched soon to ensure this. Gogoi said, under the scheme students from BPL families securing at least second division in board and council examinations would be entitled to get all educational expenses from the State Government for their further studies.
