Assam CM cautions people to remain alert against ‘beef politics’

Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi has said that attempt has been made to import beef politics in certain parts of the state by fringe groups of the BJP. He cautions everybody to remain alert against beef politics.

In a press statement in Guwahati on Saturday, Mr. Gogoi said that jehadi groups are also trying to create communal disturbance in Assam.

The Chief Minister said that government is maintaining a close vigil over the situation and appeal all not to fall prey into the evil design of the communal forces.
