Mr. Faraz Ahmad, UGC-BSR Doctoral Fellow, Interdisciplinary Biotechnology Unit, Aligarh Muslim University has been awarded with prestigious Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation sponsored Global Health Travel Award for participating in a Keystone Symposia meeting “Translational Vaccinology for Global Health” which will be held at London, UK during October 24-30, 2016. Mr. Ahmad figures amongst the 45 recipients of the award from a pool of 170 applicants from all over the world.
Working as a doctoral degree candidate under the guidance of Prof. Mohammad Owais, Mr. Ahmad’s work involves the development and pre-clinical characterization of some novel vaccination strategies against prevalent human infectious diseases caused by pathogenic microbes.
