BJP president Amit Shah has blamed Congress for the miserable condition of farmers in the country. Addressing the partymen in Gandhinagar at the launch of the Maha Sampark Abhiyan in Gujarat, Mr Shah said farmers in the country would not have been in a miserable condition, had Congress cared for them during its nearly six decades of rule.
He said 96 percent of land was acquired during 60 years of Congress rule. While speaking about the Land Acquisition bill, he said the government will not give even an inch of land to the corporates.
