National Investigation Agency on Wednesday conducted simultaneous raids at 12 locations in Jammu and Kashmir in cases pertaining to alleged terror funding.
The National Investigation Agency (NIA) conducted searches at about a dozen locations in Jammu and Kashmir in connection with the terror funding case against separatists and others.. The NIA sleuths have raided places in Srinagar, Baramulla and Handwara and operation is still on.
In a crackdown on terror funding, many separatists are also on the radar of central agencies for accepting funds to foment trouble in the valley.
The raids are a continuation of an operation launched by agencies to unearth the terror funding route and its nexus with separatist leaders in the valley, including senior Hurriyat leaders of all factions.
