Five persons including four Spanish nationals were killed and three critically injured in a road accident at Punganoor in Andhra Pradesh today.
Police said the accident took place when a tourist van collided with a container truck near Tirupati. They said the van was proceeding to Puducherry from Puttaparti.
All senior revenue and police officials visited the spot and conducted preliminary enquiries. The injured have been admitted to a local hospital.
