In another case of cow vigilantism, six people were badly beaten up a group of Cow vigilantes for allegedly transporting the cattle illegally in Delhi’s Haridas Nagar area early Saturday morning.

According to police, the incident took place at Haridas Nagar area in the early hours when the local people stopped a cattle laden truck and accused the driver and his companions of illegally transporting them and thrashed them. There were some buffaloes and calves in the truck.

On receiving information, a team rushed to the spot and the situation was brought under control. Truck driver Ali Jaan has received serious injuries while his colleagues were discharged from the hospital after first aid.  Meanwhile, an FIR has been registered against unknown persons in connection with the matter.
