AMIT SHAHBJP president Amit Shah has said his party has been pro-free trade and free agriculture policy since its inception.
While advocating the party policy he also criticized congress for only considering the welfare of the party and not considering about the nation.

BJP president Amit Shah pointed out towards the party policy of considering the welfare of the Nation on priority basis. While speaking at ‘opinion-makers meet’ with a select group of city residents from various sectors yesterday,he said his party supported free trade and free agriculture when BJP’s predecessor Jana Sangh was formed and even today also his party stands for the same principle.

He reiterated that he considers Congress to be a “special purpose vehicle” formed for getting independence. He said everybody who wanted independence gathered under the banner of Congress and once the purpose was served, the structure of Congress became irrelevant.

BJP President said Jana Sangh, on the other hand, always believed in nation first, party second and the person last. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis was present on the occasion. He said that the transformation of Mumbai is taking place rapidly due to Central governments involvement and also expressed confidence take the city to next level in infrastructure and GDP growth within next 5 years.
