Prime Minister Narendra Modi today accused the Congress government in Manipur of spreading false propaganda on the Naga Peace Accord.

Addressing an election rally in Imphal, he said there is nothing in it that is detrimental to the interests of the state. He said that country’s development is incomplete without the progress of the North East.

Hence, this region should be central to development of the country. Mr Modi said development and unity of Manipur is the main aim of his party.

The Prime Minister launched a scathing attack on Chief Minister O Ibobi Singh of running what he said the most corrupt government.
Mr Modi promised to end the crippling economic blockade in the State if the BJP comes to power. He said what Congress could not do in 15 years, BJP will do in 15 months.
