Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley has said that BJP led NDA government in the Centre will never compromise with security of the nation and people resorting to violence. Mr. Jaitley further said that, keeping in view that Jammu and Kashmir has suffered a lot due to militancy, Prime Minister Narender Modi led union government is committed to the development and revival of economic activity in the State. Paying tribute to the nationalistic icon of Jammu and the founder member of Jana Sangha Pt. Prem Nath Dogra, while addressing a rally organised at his native village Smailpur in Samba district of Jammu today, Mr. Jaitley said that party shall always remain grateful to the sacrifices of late Dograji.
Speaking on the occasion, MoS PMO Dr. Jitendra Singh once again, held Pakistan responsible for the prevailing unrest in Kashmir Valley. The rally was organised as the concluding function of the ongoing Tiranga Yatra, which has been started by the party to mark the 70th Independence Day.
Jammu and Kashmir Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Nirmal Singh, Speaker State Legislative Assembly Kavinder Gupta, BJP State President Sat Sharma,MPs Jugal Kishre Sharma and Shamsher Singh Manhas and State Cabinet Minister Chander Prakash Ganga were among others present on the occasion.
