Rajnikanth or ‘Kabali’ mania has gripped Southern India as the much awaited movie of super star Rajanikanth is about to be released tomorrow. Several private companies have announced holidays for their employees so that they can watch their beloved movie star.

The Rajnaikanth, Radhika Apte starrer movie has been dubbed in Hindi, Telugu and Malayalam, besides Tamil.

Many people in Chennai, Bengaluru and Coimbatore have a day off on Friday, when Rajinikanth’s action drama Kabali releases in cinemas.

The UAE isn’t insulated from the fan frenzy. While the craze isn’t as intense in this region, local fans’ devotion to the superstar is as real.

“I have booked Kabali tickets for Thursday, Friday and Saturday shows. If I like the film, I will book three more shows. I can never get enough of his charm and charisma,” Mohammad Shaali, a businessman in Dubai, told tabloid!. In 2014, he travelled to Chennai from the UAE to watch the first day, first show of Lingaa.

“For me, only his presence in the film matters. We watch the film only for him,” said Shaali. His WhatsApp profile picture bears the poster of Kabali and his Twitter page is filled with the 65-year-old star’s updates.

Not only India, the mega movie will be screened in 400 theaters in US, it is also being released in Japan, Indonesia and Malaysia.
