Eleven pilgrims were killed and seven injured when a vehicle they were traveling in rammed into a stationary truck on the Mehta Amritsar road near Mattel 25 Km from Amritsar yesterday in the wee hours. The pilgrims were on their way to pay obeisance at Golden Temple Amritsar in a Mahendra Bolero camper when the fatal crash took place.
